14 Days Home Approval
At Solitaire customer satisfaction is our priority therefore we want you to be totally satisfied with your purchase.
order that our goods reach you in first class condition all items are
fully inspected prior to packaging and delivery. If for any reason you
would like to return goods to us you may do so within 14 days from the
date of receipt of the goods. (Excluding Sundays and Bank Holidays) Our
home approval and returns policy is an additional safeguard for you to
and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer which rights
remain unaffected by this policy.
Returns of Merchandise
Goods must be back with us by the 14th day. It is your responsibility to ensure delivery is accepted by your agreed time period with us at the time of placing your order i.e. standard UK delivery (2/3 working days) or next day delivery. The returns period starts from the day delivery was attempted/agreed.
Please ensure you comply with the following instructions below when making a return.
Any item which is returned to us must not show any signs of being worn, must not be soiled by perfume, make-up, or other contaminates, to be in their original condition and any security tags, labels or swing tickets be intact and remain attached. Goods must be returned in their original packaging and at your own cost.
Your purchase will contain a '˜Returns Form'. You must complete this form including the date of your return also stating the reason for your return and include this form with your return goods. After the goods have been examined by us please allow up to 14 days for the credited refund.
If the goods are returned outside of this period or without the completed 'Return Form' or in any way be in breach of our returns policy, we may refuse to offer a refund and may return the goods to you. However we will endeavour to resolve any matters concerning returned goods.
If after purchase you find the goods fail in some way either due to defective materials or workmanship and are therefore unsatisfactory, please return the item to us and together in writing state the nature of your complaint. We will then investigate the matter and inform you in writing of our findings. If it is found that the item is defective then we will offer to repair the item, or a suitable replacement, or a refund in part or in full of the original purchase price including postage and packaging.
Distance Selling Regulations 2000
These regulations provide you with further protection in certain circumstances. Under the Distance Selling Regulations 2000 you have a right to cancel your order for any product although the regulations do not apply to certain products i.e. made to your personal specifications or which, by reason of their nature, cannot be returned or are products that are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly, or are audio and video recordings and computer software that you have unsealed or used. Your statutory right to return goods under the regulations may be exercised up to and including the seventh day (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays) after the day of delivery. If you wish to exercise your statutory right to cancel, you must notify us in writing within the statutory period and immediately return the products to us at your own cost. You must take reasonable care of the goods. If you cancel within the statutory period you may claim a refund of any sum you have paid concerning the goods, less any charges we make for collecting the goods (including courier fees) if you do not return them at your own cost.
